I Have A Say Thanks to My Mom and Dad!!!

Being the oldest of 11, I am so thankful, especially now, for my Mom and Dad saying "yes" to life! Growing up, we never had a ton of money. My Dad was a high school chemistry teacher and my parents decided from the beginning that they wanted to have one of them home with us. My mom gave up her teaching career, and raised me, followed by 10 others! My Mom also taught all 11 of us at home for part of our childhood before we would head off to Nativity Catholic Grade School. My Dad worked long hours, eventually earning other degrees so that he could first become dean, then principal, and finally, when I was a sophomore, he was named Roncalli High School's first president. My Dad and Mom both sacrificed SO MUCH for us.

I remember, even as a young person, getting stared at by people, and I remember the comments they would make. I can still hear a dental receptionist asking my Mom "Are these all yours? You know how children are made right?" followed by a real insidious but ditzy chuckle, followed by a secretarial gum crackle. My Mom and Dad were always tight budget wise, and I'm sure at times ached with a desire to not have to take bags of clothes from other families so that we could have clothes. I'm sure my Mom and Dad had desires to simply go to Nordstrom and buy us and give us all our own new clothes and Gameboys and Reebok Pumps etc. I'm sure they at times really wished they could just get a new car and not have to drive a fifteen passenger van around. I'm sure at times they wanted really badly to just go to a restaurant and sit back and enjoy a big expensive meal instead of having to cut coupons and craft together economic meals on the stove.

But they chose life for us, and they chose sacrifice for themselves.

I often think about that ditzy secretary now when our family gets together almost every weekend for dinner to laugh and hang out. Some of the siblings might be out of town or busy with other obligations, but inevitably, all weekend long, every weekend, our family gets together. Sometimes, when we're out at a restaraunt, I see the couples who are alone with each other. They hardly talk to each other and the loneliness is palpable. A part of me feels bad that we're having so much fun with our 8 tables shoved together, telling stories, laughing good hearty and healthy laughs. Sometimes I wonder if one of the couples sitting in the restaurant quietly and solemnly is that dental secretary - who now has piles of money and can eat wherever she wants, but doesn't have hardly anyone to share it with. My heart breaks for the people who are alone, especially the ones who are alone because, when they could have been having children, they instead bought into the contraception lie and lived for themselves only.

I have a say today, and so do my ten younger brothers and sisters, because my parents chose life. Mom and Dad - thanks a million!!!

Urszula Durma, New MD Has a Say

As a member of The Catholic Church and just graduated medical doctor I have a say - I will do all my possible to defend life from the conception until natural death. I will educate all my patients about the truth of contraceptive pill!

Mary Ann Kreitzer - Mom of 5, Gramma of 21

Mom of Five, Gramma of 21

I have a say because my mom and dad welcomed me into a family where ultimately I grew up with nine brothers and sisters.

Because my parents raised us in the Catholic faith, I have a say based on the truths taught by Jesus to evangelize the culture of death.

Through my children and grandchildren including one baby waiting to be born I have a say in the future that will go beyond my time here on earth.

I say that Planned Parenthood’s days are numbered. They sow misery and despair, while our children sow life and hope.
Thank you, Lord, for my parents who gave me not only life, but the Word made Flesh who says it all!

Mary Ann Kreitzer

Mrs. M

I have a say. I have a say because as the child of a wonderful, generational, Catholic family I turned away from that life and bought all the lies that the Planned Parenthood crowd sells.

I bought into the idea that contraception is wonderful because it allows sex on demand without responsibility of course, followed by abortion should that drug fail.

Then I got married. I started to question my liberal ideas. I wanted a baby badly but could not get pregnant. Wait a minute! Wasn't it my "right" to demand a baby?! I had contracepted like a good liberal American woman. I had a college degree and a wonderful job. I had money, a very good and decent husband and two dogs. I wanted a baby.

I did get pregnant, but that baby was lost in the middle of my pregnancy. An overwhelming sense of loss and grief have followed me every day for 22 years. That baby was not a "right"! He was a gift. He wasn't something I could order, like a fast food meal, just because I wanted him. And in my despair, I found God again. Most likely to the unceasing prayers of my wonderful parents, I returned to the Church. I had six children, all rather quickly as I was entering my 30's by then.

I have been inordinately blessed to have been able to homeschool my children. And they too, have a say, because my teenagers do not believe in the lie that is being preached by this society and by the minions of Planned Parenthood.

So, Planned Parenthood, I have a say. As a nearly 50 year old woman, I have a say because you stole my innocence with your lies, you stole the best of me and the best of my young life because I lived your lies. The lies of the evil one, the lie that sex would be the ultimate freedom! The truth is that only God can give peace, the peace that comes from living under the truth that comes from Jesus Christ through the Catholic Church. So until I die, I will speak of the sadness that comes from following the lies of Planned Parenthood.

Nicolle Nicastro - Planned Parenthood: "We are Coming For You!!"

I have a say, and I say that I truly believed the lies of Planned Parenthood, fed to me with a poison dose of radical feminism.

I have a say, and I say that I truly believed that I needed a medication and access to a surgical procedure to be equal to a man.

I have a say, and I say that I truly believed the lies spread about the Catholic Church.

I have a say, and I say that I won't be fooled again.

I have a say, and I say thank you to our most loving heavenly Father that I was led away from those lies by a loving husband and prayerful father, back into the arms of Christ and His Church.

I have a say, and I say that if I was not pro-life when I lost my precious Michael to miscarriage, I would have gone mad. Because that wasn't a blob of cells I held in my hand. It was a tiny and perfect human being. My son.

I have a say, and I say that if I did not see a pro-life therapist following my miscarriage, the awful effects of PTSD would haunt me even now. Because that wasn't a blob of cells I held in my hand. It was a tiny and perfect human being. My son.

I have a say, and I say that you do not have a right to take the Truth and hide it.

I have a say, and I say that you do not have a right to take the Truth and distort it.

I have a say, and I say that you will now know real fear. Because you have pranced around acting as if your money and your media can protect you.

Challenge Accepted.

We are coming for you.

And the souls of the 50 million lives you have taken are coming with us.

I was born just a month after my mother’s junior year of high school.
The family did not run and hide the sin to save embarrassment because my mother “had a say”; and now today, “I have a say.”
So, I say thank you to the greatest mom I could ever have, for she did not think of herself or social standing, but only of the love that a true mother could have for one of God’s children.
It is no wonder that her birthday is the on feast of Our Lady of Fatima.
Mother Mary had a say as a young girl, and she said “yes.”
My mother had a say as a young girl, and she said “yes.”
Because of this, we all have a say; and one day Christ will return, and he will have a say.

Lucy LaPerna, Catholic School Contraceptor...Until Recently

we are the underdog. Unfortunately, the enemy has already taken hold of many of our own without them realizing it. I was one of them until about three years ago when I was led to St. Patrick's Church in Columbus Ohio. Now, I feel the battle...sometimes more, sometimes less but I know that I am in one.

I used contraception after having had 12 years of Catholic school education. In that 12 years, I either wasn't paying attention OR, I just never learned WHY contraception is an inherent evil. I don't think I was ever taught anything other than Catholic people didn't agree with it. It was as "light" as that. But in fact, the slap in our Creator's face is HARD and HEAVY....that we would take all the pleasure but say "no thank you" to the prize. Like the thrill of the game and the thrill of a big win but not wanting to take home the trophy because it is too heavy and will take up too much space in our living room.

I feel so sad about it. I feel helpless to teach others because of my own weak understanding. And, I know I am not alone. In fact, I am probably a representation of a vast majority of Catholic people. And that makes this battle a formidable one.

There is still big part of me that "gets it" about wanting to avoid "getting pregnant". I have done some reading about JPII's studies on NFP and although I am impressed by his knowledge and understanding of the subject matter, it is a tough sell.

We need to re-educate an entire generation about the inherent evils of contraception.

Heidi Czerkes, Looking to Adopt a Child with Down Syndrom

I have a say because my mother, who was told to not get pregnant because it was "too risky" chose to give me life.

My sister and brother, four and five years after me, respectively, have a say because she again recognized the beauty in giving her children life, even though the "risks" were high. For this, I am forever thankful. My childhood - and those of my brother and sister - was a good one. We never wanted for love or nurture, even if we didn't have the newest toys and the "coolest" clothes.

I have a say because I was loved.

I recognize this more and more every day, as I watch my husband (an NFP-only OB/GYN) care for women who are in the same situation as my mother was. I see the love, the dedication, and the true compassion for these unborn children in the eyes of their mothers and their doctors. It is a beautiful sight.

I have a say, and have chosen to use my "say" by advocating for special needs children, waiting to be adopted. We're currently in the process of adoption a beautiful little boy with Down Syndrome into our family (we already have three biological boys). We want him to have a say, too.

I am forever grateful that I have a chance to stand up for life on a daily basis. The Devil is strong, but God - and Life - is stronger. Love never fails.
